[Outdated] [TAS] Goldeneye: 007 (Wii) - Facility 007 Classic in 8:42
13Goldeneye: Wii is a very underrated game, and it actually makes for a pretty good speedrun. This is my attempt to TAS my favorite level in the game, Facility. The TAS was played on the hardest difficulty, 007 classic, which has more objectives, tougher enemies, and no health regeneration.
Unfortunately the version of Dolphin I had to use (4.0-6502) to make this was really bad. I had lots of problems getting savestates to work properly and frame advance would constantly advance multiple frames at a time instead of just one. The only reason i used 4.0-6502 was because that's the only version i know of that allowed me to use my save file so i could play just this level instead of having to play the whole game up to this point. If a complete TAS of this game ever gets made, it would be on a more recent version since save files are not a concern for a full TAS. Optimizing this was very hard to do because of these problems, so i'm sure this can be improved. The main point of this video was to show that this game can make for a very awesome TAS and i would love to make on in the future.
