Outlast 2 Demo Ending Explained – Outlast 2 Plot, Lore and Theories

In this video, I explain the meaning behind the Outlast 2 demo ending and review how it can have an affect on the plot. All of my information is speculative and based on theory that I made from my understanding of the Outlast series and my impressions and reactions to playing the Outlast 2 demo.
This video highlights gameplay footage of nearly all cutscenes of a full Outlast 2 demo playthrough performed by me as well as some scenes from the original Outlast and the ending of Whistleblower. If you have not played any of the games from the Outlast series, please be prepared for spoilers as there are bits and pieces, including death scenes and ending scenes, from those games - this IS an analysis covering some elements of the other games too after all!
It is very apparent when analyzing the demo that there are a lot of religious references (mainly references to the bible) and we might just be seeing the return of a Father Martin type character. I see a lot of potential for there to be cults, boss characters based on the Four Horsemen of the Apocolypse and the return of the Murkoff Corporation with their crazy Morphogenic Engine Therapy methods, among many other things. With stages like the beginning village and cornfield, there is also potential for references to the KKK and biblical plagues from the book of Exodus. We have already seen Red Barrels make references to Jude 1 14-15 in their teaser trailers, so it's highly possible!
It will be interesting to see what Outlast 2's story will entail and how Blake and (perhaps Lynn through DLC or otherwise) will get past all the new enemies and bosses for their news story.
Please note that this video contains jumpscare scenes from the demo, it has been edited so as to not scare anyone (it's more disturbing than anything, as one would expect).
