I love Outrun 2. After playing Outrun Online Arcade on the PS3 in full HD, it never feels right going back to my original Xbox versions of Outrun 2 and Outrun 2006 SP. They've both got great graphics at a solid 60 fps, but the video output via scart cable looks so grainy after you've been used to HD, which made me wish that Sega would release the original Outrun 2 courses (and bonus courses) as some form of DLC expansion pack. That never happened, so I got used to the idea of never playing those original courses in HD - until I remembered that you could get Outrun 2006 for the PC. So I downloaded it (a bargain at £4.99 - probably less than DLC would've cost) and it seemed like this might be the ultimate version of Outrun for a fan like me. But, typically, something in my PC has decided to bollocks things up (this is why I prefer sticking to consoles!). Potentially it could look fantastic - It's running at a silky smooth 60fps in full 1280x1024 HD - but I'm getting tons of graphical artefacts when I play, most commonly weird random bits of scenery appearing in the wrong place, sections of missing road and random chunks missing out of cars. So irritating... I've tried everything I can think of to try and sort it out, from countless tweaks with the graphic card settings (V-sync, triple buffering, anti-aliasing and resolution settings don't seem to make any difference - the problem happens just as much with all the quality options set to the lowest as it does with them at the highest). I've updated my graphics card and Direct X drivers, I've re-installed my motherboard's drivers. I've even added a new PCI slot fan underneath the graphics card and re-applied thermal paste to my CPU. Anybody got any bright ideas?

System info:
Pentium 4 running at 3.0 GHz
2 GB of Ram
Nvidia GeForce 7600 GT AGP (512 MB) (I believe it needs 350w - my PSU 400w)
Windows XP service pack 2
