Welcome to my second Single release from my EP " in darkness i bloomed" and welcome to the world of Lofi Chillhop :)
Chillhop is a mix of hip hop elements and some chilled and layed back sounds, to simply chill and relax to. Lofi Sounds are low budget productions, if you would say so, that impress with their imperfection of sound but yet feel so comforting and beautiful.
this is the masterpiece field of Mr. Mix. its like his hometown music because his favourite music style is hip hop, as a lot of you already did recognize in his handwriting trough the mixes and the creative processes that He is going for. So, i put myself completely inthi his expertise and his hands with this Song and trusted the process.
I always admired music that is not too intrusive but still brings the meaning on point. Music that is ambient and delightful in its own athmosphere.
I always wanted to challenge myself to write a song that is build up in an untypical way. So this song does not have a classic refrain or bridge part. And that was very challenging; to write a song with so many repeating elements that are catchy but dont have a hook in general. Hook writing is what i am really good at, so i am glad i got this challenge for myself and could proof myself, that i am able to write something more arty, like this. Mr. Mix helped me with the mixing and decided for lots of backvocal layers and different dimensions in the song itself to add a bit more sparcle and deeper dimensions to it. And since the demo recording had everything that i really liked, i skipped the part, where i usually re record for weeks until i am finally satisfyed. So all crooked notes, cracks in the guitar in the beat and breathings of me are here intentianally to create the feeling of a more layed back, natural and intense story. I wanted to go far and beyond with this track and i hope you guys can enjoy my humble try to create something more artful :)
