Hi everyone i'm back!

I had an old alarm clock that had broken on me,so i went about creating a case mod from it for the ouya. The ouya i haven't really played with for quite some time to be honest.

But any way i gutted the clock,i then broke out the face inside with a knife and my bare hands,it came out really well to be fair i was shocked how well,i then got some clasps from an old broken helping hands, they are sort of washers but oval to clamp the hands on with finger tightners,i then using just screw drivers bored out a point for 4 pc motherboard stand-offs.I put 2 thick piles of stand offs screwed into the clock face to mount both the fan with 2 of them and the clasps for the helping hands with the others.I bored and broke away the hole you see the cables come through,it's very crude.

I then took the 2 top heatsink srews ouyt of the ouya heatsink and screwed it back with the clasps inbetween the heatsink and the screws. It then hung free by that,i then bored a hole for the power switch and solder a 2 wire 2 way switch to the ouya motherboard pin out,and then hot glued the switch in place.

The results of this are one extremely loud fan,but because the supersized shim mod was previously done on it,it now has an idle temperature of a mere 24c i went for a drink and left it idling in android tuner the other night, when i came back it was still idle temperature of 24c with an uptime readout of 5hr47m,that's 4c less temperature than a watercooled system on a forum online.

I'll be following up on some benchmark videos as soon as i can,but i just thought you guys might like to see it,there is a very poor video from a phone with no commentation, bits on the carpet from out of the clock, but it's interesting none the less.
