17Overland continues as Carrie and Byron (who I suspect wasn't in the Forces at all and is in fact just some accountant who played CoD a lot) continue their journey West in the Post-Apocalyptic USA.
Our two people manage to rescue another survivor, Lorena, who proves to be useful as she has an extra action point.
As a trio, they travel to the blocked road, where things get a bit scary as the mysterious beasties approach. Also, it's at this stage that we learn that cars are vulnerable... and can explode...
We make a few attempts at acquiring a new vehicle but it proves more difficult than you'd think.
Our survivors leave The East Coast and enter The Woodlands, where the beasties are many... and bigger... and faster...

WHAT IS OVERLAND?
A squad-based survival strategy game with procedurally generated levels set in post-apocalyptic North America. Every random level is full of close calls and hard choices, even though the interface is approachable and easy to learn.
