40Overland is a turn based post apocalyptic survival game set in procedurally generated levels, and it is GORGEOUS.
So join me as I take a road trip through this beautifully presented world as we struggle for survival against the threat of the enemy, which are... er... sort of... rock... crystal... three legged...monsters...? Whatever they are, they want to kill us.
We start with Carrie, who used to make great potato salad, and she has a car! We soon meet up with Byron, who is a man who means business thanks to his hard hat, and we make the journey west.
On their travels, Carrie and Byron battle the curious Beasties, search for loot and scavenge for fuel. A terrible night level causes us some stress but we do acquire something particularly useful...

WHAT IS OVERLAND?
A squad-based survival strategy game with procedurally generated levels set in post-apocalyptic North America. Every random level is full of close calls and hard choices, even though the interface is approachable and easy to learn. Manage allies, fuel supplies, medkits and weapons by making the right choices on the procedural roadmaps. A road trip straight into the heart of the cataclysmic event that changed the Earth forever.
