Walkthrough/Playthrough/Let's Play
Description:
In 324 AXW, the crew of the starship, Echelon, carries out a mission from High King Klein Rave, where they have to investigate a wormhole that appeared on Planet Warg. At the location, they discover a bizarre alien structure that seems both organic and technological, along with brain parasites. This is connected to a mental foe that the late High Queen Ellemine encountered in the past, and it's up to Elios, Nyxie, Selise, and Kieran to defeat this mysterious entity before it forces the Galaxy of Xerxes to submit to the void.

0:00 Title
0:14 Ellemine's Funeral
She and Chad died of old age and not assassination.
1:23 Elios's Intro
This guy graduated from engineering school and joined an important government mission, but his peers from the orphanage are kind of meh about it.
2:16 Selise's Intro
So the Lord of Divinity religion is transphobic?
4:02 Nyxie's Intro
I heard some sparse mentions of Tourette Syndrome on social media, but this game made me google it. Coprolalia is supposed to be a rare symptom.
5:48 Kieran's Intro
That gulanian should learn to be a bit more sensitive about Kieran's past.
6:29 Boarding the Echelon
It looks like Selise's ID still has her deadname.
A wormhole connecting to another galaxy somehow sent a structure onto Planet Warg. This is related to what Ellemine encountered in her Astral Realm dreams.
11:06 Planet Warg
This game uses the free turn system from Prayer of the Faithless and Elf's Diary, but there's only TP and no MP. Skills can also cost more than 1 action point, and every party member contributes 2 points while alive.
We run into Team A, which consists of Xavier (engineer), Sybil (primary combatant), Baw (ecologist and the first good full-blooded Draconian), and Liara (cipher with empath abilities). Xavier is like a mirror of Elios's desire for attention and need to put up an arrogant front.
Team B finds the structure, but it seems to be empty. We soon get attacked by a miniboss mob that's slightly stronger than the previous mobs. These apparently got taken over by a brain parasite.
27:41 Echelon
The origin of the wormhole is Saforo Galaxy.
You can only buy stuff during ship segments and all enemies are finite, so spend wisely, even if the shopkeeper is sassy. Enemies don't have a ton of AOEs, so you may want to neglect armor upgrades for everyone except Kieran.
Once you talk to everyone, the bridge will be unlocked, and going there will advance the story.
38:18 Ship Invasion
The enemy somehow detected our intent and sent hostiles onto the ship's left wing. The forcefield went down and we have to fix the wing while fighting off enemies. A huge swarm appears and Kieran will try to hold them back by himself, but the battle seems to be unwinnable statistically speaking.
46:00 Echelon
This is your last chance to shop ever. All enemies from this point on won't drop any money, since it'd be pointless to.
55:42 Planet Magog
This time, we find several structures, as well as a main structure.
1:05:11 Final Dungeon
The party gets separated due to the shifting structure. Selise and Kieran kiss and have their romantic moment. Elios and Nyxie find Xavier, but the latter gets brainwashed by a Magog crystal. When the party reunites, they find that all of Team A got brainwashed.
1:10:12 Boss: Xavier, Sybil, Baw, and Liara
1:14:06 Final Dungeon
The boss states that they previously came in contact with Ellemine because of an "emptiness" within her.
1:16:05 Boss: Overmind
This boss is quite strong and has minions that take 2-3 hits to kill.
1:25:32 Ending
Overmind states that we only defeated a fragment of the whole. Everyone goes back to the ship to celebrate, but there's another consciousness within Xavier that preys on his insecurities and tempts him into evil. I wonder if there was anything the player could have done to prevent this outcome.
