Last Battalion is an X68000 game, released as Override for the PC Engine. It is a vertical-scrolling shooter and the first recorded game developed by Sting Entertainment.

You can increase the power of your primary weapon by collecting “P” items. Your ship also has a charge feature, where if you do not touch the fire button for a few seconds, your ship will charge up a powerful shot that can destroy many of the enemies on-screen. You can also acquire secondary weapons by collecting a gem. The gem changes colors, and depending on which color it is when you collect it, you will get a different weapon. You can power up your secondary weapon by collecting another gem of the same color.

Override (known also as Last Battalion) is a vertical shoot'em up game developed by the Data East in 1990 and released same year for the PC Engine. It is a game with "Amiga" like graphics, not so hard to complete to be honest, even with losing all the powerups when dying because your ship can be hit 3 times before death and health powerups aren't rare. There are total of 6 stages, only the last two might be problematic for most of the players.
