Post stream notes: Today was actually above average all things considered. I finished three of the six challenges for playing games in competitive which was my overall goal today, and I also apparently came out ahead on wins. I played 45 games and won 23 which is surprising. I also finished the name tag thing which I didn't really care about. I mostly wanted the gun points which I used on the marble.
There's a conversation at the end about trying to find a way to improve payload maps since they're a slog and very jarring compared to the rest of modern Overwatch 2. There has to be a better way to go about the mode or finding a way to make them way more valuable since they can potentially take way more time and effort than everything else.
The only real issue I had gameplay-wise was there were quite a few games today where supports would not do their job at all. Always right in front of them and they never heal. And every time I soon as I died from not being healed the rest of the team would fall over and we would lose whatever point we were fighting for. Not surprising though. Beyond that just the usual people around the corner watching the enemy team playing the game etc.
I started with Hanzo but eventually ended up on Ashe. I used to play Ashe a lot in Overwatch 1, but man that bullet size change really seems to have fucked some shit up because it's so hard to get head shots with Ashe now. My final blows were low most of the time compared to Hanzo just because of how hard it is for the game to recognize headshots now. Add it to the list of bad decisions since Overwatch 2 started I guess.
