One of the biggest epidemics that I've seen now a days in the social media and gaming world is this idea of a berserker mentality. Everything is about attacking, everything is about ripping people apart, and never taking a step back and thinking about what exactly that person could mean with their statements, or even if they could mean something completely different. It's something that's become a menace in the Youtube world, as people use it to grow their own channels. And yet, here I sit with the idea of understanding.....and wonder what the hell everyone is smoking. What happened to rational? What happened to kindness? And in particular, what happened to the product of what we produce being more important then our beliefs that are unrelated to the product in question? That's what I'm here to discus this Overwatch Friday.
