The huge barrier nerfs have hurt tank players who don't know the rules of proper barrier management, but in this video we teach how to tank after shield nerfs. The best playstyle is to remember to shield for a purpose, to save a teammate out of position, ferry them to cover or to get a second or so of sustain on the frontline. Beyond that, shields disappear in Overwatch now and you'll need a plan to set up the engagement beyond "press button to survive", now, cover, corners and engagements matter again! It's a great time to learn/play Overwatch, but as we all adjust to how much more difficult the game is now, there will be growing pains.
