In a nutshell, Other World Computing's Multi-Mount system allows users to install extra hard disk or solid state drives to their Mac Pro towers. There are a several configurations available for installing a 2.5-inch drive into an empty 3.5-inch bay, or utilizing an empty optical CD/DVD bay for single or dual drives. The advantage is an obvious expansion of internal storage in addition to a place to install a 2.5-inch SSD.

The product pictured here combines a 3.5-inch drive with a 2.5 and will go into one of the two 5.25-inch optical bays. Pricing starts out at $17.99 and goes up to $49.99.
