26Owning the Pimax 8KX for one year, how did it hold up?
It held up very well. I have been using it every chance I can get, most of the time on the weekends when I record YouTube and TikToks, for daily uploading. Waking up in VR after a long night of partying can be very devastating to a VR headset, but this thing is truly a beast. The headset has taken some good hits while playing, and also ended up on the floor once, from the aforementioned partying too hard. I did have to replace the cable once, a few months back, but it has been through a lot. I now run a pulley system to extend usability and reliability.
The pixel density and resolution of this headset are hands down the best out of any other VR headset, with two 4K displays, outputting 8K to the PC. The 200 degrees field of view really makes this the most immersive VR headset. In addition, the audio quality is truly high fidelity further increasing immersion.
