Fluffy dogs don't always do well in the summer heat. Ozy has a tendency to get hot spots this time of the year and he makes it worse by chewing on them. We got him a cone of shame, and I got lucky and found some hot spot ointment for Shibas at the local pet store. No idea why they would even carry that. This is an older video from before the computer crashes so he is better but worse looking now. The hot spots are 95% gone but they took some tail and butt fluff with them.
