[P3D] PMDG 747 v3 - IMPROVE VAS USAGE & COMPARISON
0I decided to do a comparison video as I ran into some OOM issues. In this video I have 2 video's exactly the same, one running with Hyperthreading enabled and the other with it disabled. As you can see there is an improvement in VAS usage when comparing the two. Also you can notice in the bottom left corner the FPS are slightly higher in the Hyperthreading Disabled video.
As this is just a way to decrease the VAS usage and increase the frame rate slightly I can not say that you will not run into OOM problems using this tweak.
How To: Enter your BIOS and go into CPU configuration and if your processor has the Hyper threading feature disable it, then save and exit.
*Note - You may need to look up a guide for your particular CPU if you are unsure how to do this.
