PAC-LAND Conversions - Some Good - Many Bad! 😀😢
Which Home Conversion of Pac-Land is the BEST?
OGDuffy with another VS video... This time out we are looking at the arcade conversions of Pac-Land by Taito from 1984.
Pac Man needs no introduction and since his appearance in arcades in 1980 went on to become a character with loads of spin off games and merchandise.
Pac-Land is based on the Pac Man cartoon and is a great arcade platform game where you play a cartoon version of Pac Man, avoiding ghosts and completing levels of ever increasing difficulty in this platform arcade video game.
As much fun as this was in the arcades how did Pac-Land convert to the home computer versions of the day?
In this VS arcade coin op conversion comparison I take a look at the following versions of Pac-Land before finally delivering my verdict on the best version for the home computer market.
Firstly I take a look at the 16 Bit home computer conversions of Pac-Land on the Commodore Amiga and the Atari ST and then the classic 8 Bit home computer conversions of Pac-Land on the Sinclair ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CP and finally the Commodore 64.
But which version, if any, is worthy of wearing the OGDuffy crown for the best conversion of Pac Land?
