It’s ok to die. When you munch a power pill, try to devour all 4 ghosts for max points. Also, try to eat the fruit when it appears as much as possible.
Unlike the other Pac-Man iterations, there’s no pre-determined route for the ghosts and the hit detection is awful which makes the Atari 2600 version much harder.
It’s still doable, though.
