16Magma Opus completed with 0%, 0 points. Completing this level with 0% isn't that easy, when you consider the three shortcuts that must be used. The first one at 0:30, is an optional shortcut but highly recommended, because the strawberry that you encounter on the normal route is very hard to get past. I laughed when I discovered this shortcut, because Pac-Man needs to land on a pointy stalagmite, and that should hurt quite a bit, lol. The second shortcut at 0:46, is easier than it looks. All you have to do is get a good jump to that ledge, and you skip the entire Stony arena. Now, the third and final shortcut at 2:08 is just unbelievable. You have to jump out into the abyss in the right direction and butt-bounce at the right time. When you get to the second platform, jump and butt-bounce into the center of the giant stalagmite you see there, and the level will be done already. It's an amazing shortcut! Credit goes to paperluigi13 for discovering this shortcut, because if he had not, this Low% video would not have been possible.
This video series will basically serve as a guide for the Low% speedrunning category. All that is required for that is to collect the least fruit and pac-dots possible. For added challenge however, I will also be minimizing score, extra lives, health wedges, power-ups, checkpoints, and etc collected.
