In this series I will be playing some well known and less well known games all the way from yesteryear through to the present, sometimes from consoles and sometimes from the thousands of PC games available either through websites such as Stea and, Good Old Games (GOG), as abandonware, (Home of the Underdogs) or through emulation software. (Such as WinVice C64)
In this episode we play March of the Living by Machine 22 and Creaky Corpse Ltd. It's best described as a survival rogue-like where you are in a middle of a zombie apocalypse! We do our best to try and get our every-man character Greg to his ex-wife's apartment to make sure her and their child are o.k. before heading off to the safe zone... sounds easy enough, eh?
We'll be moving around a map of the country searching through cities and stumbling across different scenarios much as you do in FTL but at any point you can be ambushed by zombies and have to fight for your life! This game is like The Walking Dead TV series: it's grim, they'll be bad decisions made and most likely no-one is going to get out of here alive... Good clean fun if you ask me!
