Story
William "Bill" Sherman has a problem - he's dead. Blown to pieces by his own C4 payload, which he wanted to eliminate a South American drug lord with on behalf of some shady secret service people. The fact that he accidentally blew a bus full of innocent civilians into the Great Beyond has given rise to an all new problem - Hell doesn't exactly have any problems with claiming his soul. But now Bill's in purgatory and he's caught the eye of heaven's warriors. He's been offered a chance to make good the havoc he wrought using his quite special skills. And with weapons of course. Bizarre weapons. Crazy weapons.

My Review:
Painkiller: Resurrection is the fourth in the Painkiller series While I loved the first three, this one is somewhat disappointing. Extremely buggy out of the box and no way to download the needed patches online. You are forced to update via in game which didn't work the first time for me. A lack of Coop play and I had problems connecting to online games.

Interesting story of a contract killer who seeks salvation. The non-linear game play sounds promising BUT with no map to speak off and no way to measure your progress, you can get stuck or lost quite easily. The game feels much shorter than the first three in the series.

If you can get it for $10.00 fine otherwise don't bother. Stick to the first three.
