0Bill meets one of the Elayhim. One of God's servants who guides the souls of men in Purgatory and after redemption escorts them to Heaven. She warns Bill that Ramiel has betrayed Heaven and allied with Astaroth to gain control of Purgatory.
My Review:
Painkiller: Resurrection is the fourth in the Painkiller series While I loved the first three, this one is somewhat disappointing. Extremely buggy out of the box and no way to download the needed patches online. You are forced to update via in game which didn't work the first time for me. A lack of Coop play and I had problems connecting to online games.
Interesting story of a contract killer who seeks salvation. The non-linear game play sounds promising BUT with no map to speak off and no way to measure your progress, you can get stuck or lost quite easily. The game feels much shorter than the first three in the series.
If you can get it for $10.00 fine otherwise don't bother. Stick to the first three.
