Voice restoration was made possible using Retrieval-based Voice Conversion (RVC). RVC provides state-of-the-art speech-to-speech that can convert speech from one speaker to have the voice of another using a trained voice-clone model. In this experiment, I have trained a voice model using all Sam dialogue present in Pajama Sam: Games to Play on Any Day. This game is noteworthy for having the original actress, Pamela Segall Aldon, recorded using high quality, 22 KHz audio. This trained model enables any speaker to be voice-changed to a high-quality Pajama Sam. I then applied this voice model to all dialogue in Pajama Sam: No Need to Hide When It's Dark Outside. This means that dialogue is driven by the original performance but with enhanced quality.

I consider this an experiment because the AI-generated lines, while significantly higher quality, also suffer from various issues with pronunciation and certain vocalizations.
