Today we discuss the Sega Mega Drive and Sonic the Hedgehog and I show visual examples of the differences between 50hz and 60hz.

Back in the day of video games, Game companies programmed in Japan and America and televisions were different back then. Europe and other places had different tvs that produced a different resolution. Instead of programming for the different resolution and frequency, Companies took the simple approach of slowing down the game and squishing the image.
