When 95% of the palaeo games out there are based on dinosaurs, it's refreshing to see a title that features something completely different. A shoot 'em up based largely on the organisms of the Burgess Shale.

Given how rare any game based in the Cambrian/Ediacaran is, it would have been so easy to have just included a handful of organisms and given them a passing likeness. Fortunately, Vagues Games have produced a title that is as much a love letter to the Cambrian as it is to retro shoot 'em ups.
