Pocketpair will release the cross-play update for open-world survival crafting monster-collecting game Palworld in late March, the developer announced.
The update will enable multiplayer between all versions of the game, as well as world transfers for Pals.
Palworld is available on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC via Steam and Microsoft Store, and Xbox Game Pass.
Palworld developer Pocketpair is narrowing in on its big crossplay update, which is due out late March 2025.
Pocketpair confirmed this update will include multiplayer across all platforms as well as add world transfer for Pals. No further details were offered, outside a promotional image showing a bunch of Palworld characters fighting a rather large Pal.
Pocketpair Communications Director and Publishing Manager John 'Bucky' Buckley teased "a few little surprises too" with the March update.
Palworld is available now in Early Access for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store. It is also available via Game Pass.
A 25 percent-off discount sale is currently being held for PlayStation 5 via PlayStation Store and PC via Steam in commemoration of the upcoming update.
That's good news for the 32 million players that have picked up Palworld since its early access launch in January 2024. The studio has laid out a content roadmap for Palworld's 2025 that looks fairly lengthy; alongside crossplay, there is an "ending scenario" and more new content on the way for the hugely popular creature-catching survival game.
