So for some reason I've had problems with Pavucontrol on my system, I'm not really sure why but since I was I decided to find a replacement and that replacement is Pamix. So unlike Pavucontrol, Pamix is a ncurses application much like the ALSA equivalent of this application known as Amixer, however Pamix is much nicer to use than that application. Anyway this application will let you control your Pulse Audio devices pretty much about as much as most people will need to.
