In Part 10 of the Pandemonium playthrough, Nikki and Fargus finally achieve their goal, and Nikki learns why it is never a good idea to grand insane court jesters access to Wishing Engines.

In this 2.5D platformer developed for the original PlayStation by Toys For Bob, teen mage Nikki accidentally summons a giant monster thing that eats her hometown like a plate of waffles. In order to banish it and undo the devastation, she sets off on an epic quest to find the Wishing Engine alongside her faithful (and stupid) jester companion, Fargus.
