they finally released Panel de Pon in SNES Online, very happy with that! been playing this game for years as well.
it might look similar to puyo puyo, but it is a total different game to play!
was released in the west under the name "Tetris Attack" which is one of the most misleading title ever... also they couldn't stand the fairies so they just replaced them by Yoshi & co :')
clear mode relies on clearing all the colored panels above a defined line. i find it very fun to speedrun, as it relies more on clearing speed rather than chaining skills (though you'd definitely need them for some stages). there are 6 rounds of 5 stages each, plus a special stage and a last stage, for a total of 32 stages.
