Pantheon.. An unexpected work of Brilliance? (A BRIEF REVIEW)
6Huge Shoutout to Garrett @TheAndroidBishop for the God-like recommendation! Pantheon did not disappoint, in fact I may go as far as to call it my favorite show of 2023! Pantheon is created by Craig Silverstein and based off a series of short stories by Ken Liu. The show follows struggling high school student Maddie Kim whose not only struggling to fit in, but also struggling with the recent loss of her terminally ill father David Kim. That's when Maddie suddenly starts receiving messages from a stranger online in a coded chat room, that stranger claiming to be her deceased father! Turns out before he passed David Kims consciousness was unknowingly and unwillingly uploaded to cloud via an experimental brain scan. What's worse is they soon come to find David Kim is not the only test subject! I found it hard to put into words how much I enjoyed this series, but I will try my best in this vid.
