3Something pretty wild happened over the weekend as I was going through old software on my switch looking to see what I have and haven't played so I could clear space on my SD card accordingly.. I came across Blasphemous A Metroidvania style game with a heavy Spanish Catholicism theme, a game that when I bought back in 2020 I knew was special. For whatever reason you can think of life happens and for some reason I put down the game and never picked it back up... Until now! Instantly I was in love again with the amazing aesthetic and incredible 2D sprite work and this time I didn't put it back down!. Now what's wild is after completion I enjoyed the game so much I got online to research the lore to understand the story better as I often do and whilst doing this found some straight up incredible news! Blasphemous is getting a SEQUEL!! Not only is there going to be another game, but it's actually about to drop like in less than 2 months!!!! Some of the best news I've received in a LONG time! Please forgive my mispronunciation of names of characters I'm well known for butchering names lol SUCH IS MY PENANCE. While I didn't record the gameplay to the original game for the channel if you guys would like to see footage of Blasphemous 2 get in the comments I'll definitely get that going when it comes in late August!
