Chapter 6 is a low point of the game, but it should provide a decent challenge for the level 1 run. We also get our last partner, though he's not really going to have any time in the spotlight, which is sad for him. Factoring in availability, you could even argue that this makes Bombette not the worst partner...

This is a playthrough of Paper Mario for the Nintendo 64 where Mario never gains any SP, meaning he will never level up. I can still use items, star spirits, badges (though am limited to 3 BP) and partner powers, but will have to use them tactically to overcome enemies and bosses who are far above my power level. Still, there are some powerful tools in Paper Mario, so it should be possible. I'm excited to share this playthrough with y'all. Please no "backseat gaming" though.
