Here's where things start to toughen up. Ice Puffs can be pretty lethal and can hold some killer items, and Moon Clefts and Red Chomps make for pretty long and painful grindfests. Plan your first strikes precisely, and do your best to ensure that Koops stays in Peril. Also, remember that pretty much any enemy is very vulnerable to the Soft status (-3 DEF), so keep any Mr. Softeners you have/get on hand for what might otherwise be really long battles.
