Paper Mario TTYD: Throwback Pro Mode - Chapter 4
Not a hard chapter, as it usually goes. Still a fun time battling everything, though.
Throwback Pro Mode is a variant of the Throwback challenge run. In this run, you are only allowed to use items, badges, mechanics, etc. that are shared between 64 and TTYD. The Pro Mode aspect comes in primarily by applying Double Pain on top of that.
Core Challenge Rules:
-All items, badges, star powers, and moves with the same or equivalent properties may be used.
-This includes Piercing Blow and D-Down Hammer, Earth Tremor and Star Storm, and Bob-Ombast and Mega Bomb, to name a few examples.
-No superguards or stylish commands
-I make an exception when I accidentally use a stylish command if it didn't have an impact.
-Stats must not exceed 50HP, 50FP, and 30BP.
-Excess levels past 27 can be put into BP, but the extra BP may not be used.
My Optional Rules:
-Double Pain must be equipped after Chapter 1. (Hence the "Pro Mode" variant)
-Any additional resources in Pro Mode may be used in this variant. (3+ Happy Hearts, for example)
-Bingos are allowed because they are harder to control.
-The Strange Sack is not allowed - some people allow it, but I chose to not allow it.
