I think it's just an app that got looked over. It's really good. There are songs that you can play along to with it and I would bet that you can play along with your own.
Drawbacks are Controllers are heavy. And it's not hands-only capable.
Because you're not hitting real drumhead with real drumsticks. You don't have rolls. There is haptic feedback but it's not the same as striking a surface.
Overall, I just had a good time with it. If you need a portable drum kit just to fill out some rhythms, this might be your solution.
