This is the first of three things:
1. The first season to be produced by CBS Paramount Television after the first incarnation of Paramount Television was renamed to the aforementioned name in 2006. In addition to this, the copyright is now in the hands of CBS Studios Inc.; however, Paramount Pictures Corporation, the parent of Paramount Animation, retains the trademark rights to the Agent William name.
2. The first season to be produced under the Paramount Animation name. After Viacom split into two companies on December 31, 2005, the second incarnation of Viacom used its half of PTA to merge it with PFA, resulting in the current company name.
3. The first season to use the 2006 animated Nickelodeon splat logo, retiring the Nickelodeon Productions lightbulb that was used in the previous six seasons.
This is also the final season to be distributed by King World Productions prior to it being merged with CBS Paramount Domestic Television, on September 27, 2007; however, the company currently exists as an in-name-only unit of CBS Media Ventures, operating as KWP Studios. The seasons after this are distributed by CBS Television Distribution (now CBS Media Ventures).
