Join Ronald, an eager man who finds a bucket of several dvds, VHS TAPES and other media when his father goes missing. He enlists the help of his neighbor Blair to help find clues within the footage. While each tapes begins to get creepier as they go, will the truth actually be revealed or will the tapes send the audience into an absolute parallel sense of pure suspense?
“The concept of this movie – to create a found footage anthology – is rather captivating, and it works, too, thanks to a strong wraparound story, and at least some of the segments of this collection are really nicely executed and structured (including the occasional ironic punchline) while others are really raw – and for that reason all the creepier. Plus the fact that the film opens with some actual found footage from four mysterious murder cases (there are no actual killings in this movie though) gives the whole thing a macabre undercurrent, plus all the segments of the film are supposed to be based on actual killings.
