Summary= The parasitic mayor tries to convince the humans that Parasites are needed to help balance the earth, that humans are expanding too much and causing pollution and destroying the earth. The swat team kills him and it's revealed he's actually a human! Meanwhile the serial killer kills the cop that was watching him and runs away and Gotoh kills every single swat team officer, including Yamagishi who tried to fight him off with shot gun shells and a bazooka. Gotoh tells SHinichi he will kill him another day and Shinichi is afraid for his life, eventually running to the arms of Murano who rejects him because he was hurting her. She later finds him in the park and invites him to her place, they have romantic sex and she tries to comfort him both with her body and her words. Shinichi confesses his love for her and vows to live.
