The nature of visiting Torkington Park today was to then do some advanced training with my Parrot Bebop.
This flight today concentrated on me picking "Points of interests".
Once I picked a point of interest, I then had to navigate my drone over that point and also try to avoid any obstacle, which could be a danger to my drone e.g. trees trunks, Goal Posts, branches etc....
As you can see in the video I was very lucky at one point, because my drone is hovering over a stream. If one of my propellers would of clipped one of them branches, then the drone would of fell into the water. That of course would NOT be good.
The Bebop today sustained some damage to it's propellers, and I also lost a rubber foot. More propellers and rubber foots are on their way as we speak.
Also I discovered something very interesting today whilst flying the Bebop. That being that if you fly the Bebop aggressively then you can tip the Bebop up to the point that the Bebop thinks it's flying upside down.
This happened to me today and the Bebop just fell out of the sky. I'll make a video in due course explaining this more in detail. But for now then take my word that flying fast and rolling hard can tip your Bebop, to the point it thinks it's upside down and it will crash as the Emergency features will just cut off power to the motors.
