0Returning war veteran Alex Shepherd returns to his home town of Shepherd's Glen after frantically fumbling his way through innumerable nightmarish delusions regarding his younger brother Joshua and awakens to find himself in the cab of a truck driven by Travis Grady.
But the town, named for a distant ancestor who helped found it, is blanketed by an ominous and obscuring thicket of dense fog and deserted with it's barren shops left unattended.
Perplexed, Alex returns to his childhood home where he finds his catatonic and suicidal mother murmuring about his father leaving to find Alex's younger brother Joshua who has recently gone missing.
After a chance meeting with his childhood friend, Elle, Alex soon comes to discover a chain of mysterious and unexplained disappearances regarding other residents of Shepherd's Glen since his deployment.
Alex alleges that the town of Shepherd's Glen holds a disturbing secret and heads off into the fog engulfed streets in search of answers and will come to discover that blood... isn't always thicker than water...
