MISSION :
After recovering from his injuries, Nigel West Dickens hatches a new scheme to make money. As they travel to Ridgewood Farm, he shares his plan with John Marston. The idea is for John to pose as a farmer and blend in with the crowd. Nigel intends to use John as a "random test subject" to showcase his medicine. The plan involves John impressing the audience while Nigel sells his elixir. To make the demonstration convincing, John must engage in a series of challenges, including fighting a local farmer, shooting targets from a distance, and utilizing Dead-Eye targeting to capture the crowd's attention.
Mission Overview
Prerequisites :
Before this mission can be undertaken, players must complete
✔ ️ Bonnie MacFarlane's mission: "Women and Cattle"
✔ ️ Nigel West Dickens' mission: "Old Swindler Blues"
Objectives:
To successfully complete the mission, players need to:
1. Drive Nigel to Ridgewood Farm.
2. Join the audience at Nigel's demonstration.
3. Shoot a mounted skull and a thrown hat.
4. Defeat Aquila in a fistfight.
5. Disarm Aquila using Dead-Eye targeting.
Mission Details :
The mission begins in Armadillo, where John meets Nigel. He drives Nigel's wagon to Ridgewood Farm, and just before arriving, Nigel instructs John to get out to avoid being seen together. As Nigel pitches his tonic, he randomly selects John from the crowd to demonstrate its effects. John must first shoot a skull from a distance, then hit Aquila's hat mid-air using Dead-Eye, win a fistfight against Aquila, and finally, disarm him in a duel, showcasing his prowess to the captivated audience.
