0In the year of 1994, Caroline Walker receives a letter regarding two missing twins who have seemingly disappeared at the Winterlake estate along with a weathered photo.
Upon careful consideration of the oddity that she never recives post an unexplainable urge manifests in her mind and she ultimately departs to go and investigate the disappearances of Winterlake for herself.
Shortly after her arrival at Winterlake Manor, Caroline is knocked unconscious by an unknown and unseen presence.
Caroline awakens naked in a bathtub, hooked up to a respirator and is horrified to discover that an ocular surgical operation had taken place during her period of unconsciousness.
With one eye missing, Caroline prepares herself to uncover the dark, troubled secrets of Winterlake Manor, but nobody could have prepared her for the horrors that lie in wait for her within it's dark halls.
