Part 24 - Down Below In the Dank Earthen Depths
0On the day Link is to come of age celebrating the legacy of the legendary hero of time, a monstrous bird drops pirate captain Tetra into the forests high atop the mountains of Outset Island.
Link rescues Tetra from the monsters inhabiting the forest, but the humongous bird carries off Link's little sister, Aryll.
Tetra begrudgingly agrees to help Link search for his kidnapped sister, and they sail to the Forsaken Fortress, where the bird has been imprisoning girls with long ears.
Link finds Aryll amongst the other kidnapped girls, but the bird captures him and takes him to it's master, who orders Link thrown into the sea.
Link is rescued by a talking boat, the King of Red Lions, who explains that the bird's master is Ganon, who has broken free of his imprisonment.
Powerless to challenge him as he is now, Link must acquire the power of the legendary hero, which requires the three Pearls of the Goddesses.
Link ventures to the volcanic mountain of Dragon Roost, home of the Rito tribe, The Forest Haven, the home of the Great Deku Tree, and his home island of Outset ravaged and weathered by blistering tropical storms.
The King of Red Lions then takes Link to the Tower of the Gods, where he descends beneath the ocean waves to a castle suspended in time.
It's here that Link finds the legendary blade wielded by the Hero of Time, the Master Sword.
