This past week I found the cause of the "illegal 16 bit colour mask," "offscreen can't be initialized before VRAM" 3DGM errors as well as a problem where an ordinal could not be found in ntdll in 3D Groove GX games such as Penguin Racers. I Have solved these issues, and now Windows 8 users will be able to play 3D Groove GX games without issue while still maintaining compatibility with older hardware.
