Followup to my last video... yes I know I like to talk about Slams. It's coming from a place of love I promise!

First, Two Handed Maces are bad weapon classes. This is hardly newsworthy, it seems like axes were meta even back when Warcry builds were playable. The mace implicits are irrelevant and the damage numbers are just lower.

Additionally regarding Skill Gems- In general, Slam gems are numerically bad. They were only good because of the massive More multiplier you could get from Seismic Cry. The bad base attack speed didnt feel as punishing when you could slam for 120% more damage.

Boneshatter is very strong numerically. It has added flat phys damage, built in clear, built in more multiplier, and better base attack speed than the Slams equivalents. I think people see Boneshatter builds from streamers and speedrunners, and assume that the rest of Melee is at least comparable. I don't think Boneshatter warrants a nerf, but I definitely think the gap between Boneshatter and Slams is massive.

Also I misspoke a couple times - meant to say "Seismic TRAP has never received the kind of nerf that Seismic CRY got". Both of those skill gems have received nerfs and have Seismic in the name lol. Anyways the point I was trying to make... Slams got obliterated in POE patch 3.15 (July 2021).

Happy to discuss all these points to see things differently. Honestly would be happy for any attention to be paid to Slams or Warcries in general lol.

I didn't talk about the Skill Tree, still lots we could've said there. The nodes are simply less valuable than other nodes, and the Warcry clusters (and Masteries) are too mandatory.

I don't know what theyre going to do with the next patch, but I hope to see some changes. Looking forward to it. Thanks for listening
