As the PC's are at the human outpost, Mentis and Oscar scout the forests near by and find a drow scout.

That night they head back to the outpost to gather their party and head out to meet Agith at the Elven outpost.

During the night they are attacked at a road side wayhouse by a scouting party of drow. The PC's take them down and make way to the elven outpost to find it burned to the ground.

Here they learn that the way across the mountains to the frozen side is not over it, but by taking the path the drow took, under it.
