Once upon a time it might’ve been an egg or looked like one, but when the party had reached their destination, they had found something much larger, something that turned out to be a godspawn-type being. While it doesn’t seem to be corrupted by an outside source, the lack of information when the creature will emerge and the sheer destructive potential it may have doesn’t automatically make it a friend.
