Compared to the previous Guilty Gear title I had played, this one had one or two gameplay mechanics that nearly brought me to the state of whitehot fury. I have no idea who thought about manual turning, but that was a terrible idea. The lack of any story mode is also felt, at least by me. Guilty Gear X2, also known as Guilty Gear XX and subtitled The Midnight Carnival in Japan, is a fighting game developed by Arc System Works and published by Sammy Studios.
