Overall I enjoyed Leper's Smile. I just didn't like the loot penalty part. The moral hit wasn't that bad, the troop hit was. Troops totals got ripped apart from each of those moral hits to the point where I pretty much had no armies left. I can rationalize getting a monk gi for Lann, I can't rationalize getting a bleed ring, a keen spear, and armor that gives +2 ac against vermin over the lives of X number of meatbags and the -15 moral hit. It's possible that if I sent the other npc in instead of the halfing that all that loot would have stayed put. I have a feeling that she stole everything of value and lied to me about it. Speaking of halfings, I looked up the one in the hole. He can survive if you leave him after saving him (don't finish him off,) but from what I saw I still can just loot his body after that. A bit of a spoiler, apparently he is a spy and will come back later to thank you for saving him, giving you a monk weapon. This is pretty much pointless for my playthrough so him dying there isn't that big of a deal for me.
