Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous - How to fix delay on clicking portraits - selection delay
40Hello friends, in this video I will show you how to fix the mouse click delay issue when you are clicking on character portraits in Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous. I don't know exactly when this was introduced, but it was driving me insane.
Steps:
1. Locate the following file in your computer - "Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous\Wrath_Data\Managed\Owlcat.Runtime.UI.dll" (we will want to modify this file).
2. Using the following website https://hexed.it (or any preferred Hex editor) open the file from step 1.
3. Search for the following sequence - "22 9A 99 99 3E" (there should be 4 instances of this sequence in the file)
4. Replace all instances of "22 9A 99 99 3E" with "22 00 00 80 BF"
5. Save and download the modified file to your computer
6. Rename the Owlcat.Runtime.UI.dll file in your Pathfinder WotR directory to Owlcat.Runtime.UIBackup.dll
7. Copy and paste your downloaded fixed file into your "Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous\Wrath_Data\Managed" directory
8. Rename your downloaded fixed file to Owlcat.Runtime.UI.dll (the same exact name as the original file)
9. Play the game :D
